In Indian market, textile industry is a very important component, and the fabric silk is a small, yet significant division of it because it is a high value fibre. Silk, the name evokes delicate feelings itself and it is the most elegant fabric with supreme magnificence considered as a luxurious piece of cloth. These fabric and sarees made of silk comes with a natural luster, high absorbance, light weight, supple feel and high sturdiness.

The ethnic traditional wear is worn in most parts of the country on festive occasions. The elaborate designs, vibrant colours, light weight, durability and excellent drape have made silk sarees, the alluring and mandatory companion of Indian women. Silk Party Wear

Kornad saris :-

Originated in Tamil Nadu, Kornad sarees are renowned silk temple saris. These sarees come in silk fabric, earthy shades along with very eminent "rekhu" motif, wide borders, and motifs of elephants & peacocks which symbolize water, fruitfulness and productiveness. These saris are somewhat smaller in length than usual saris. Though, these days one can get bright colors as well.

Pochampalli saris :-

Originated in Pochampally, Andhra Pradesh, this unique sari can be Single Ikats or Double Ikats. These sarees generally come in embellished borders along with supplementary-warp patterns & the pallu of the saris presents a sequence of stripes of diverse widths descending in size embellished only with weft dyed yarns. These days pochampally sarees resembles patola sarees from Gujrat.









Kanjeevaram Green

Dharmavaram saris :-

Originated in Andhra Pradesh, the Dharmavaram silk sarees are kind of similar to kanjivaram sarees. Come in bright colors, exclusively designed pallus in intricate brocade or zari work, wide borders along with brocade gold patterns or buti motifs. These days one can find this saris in tussar silk.

Chettinad saris :-

Originated in Chettinad, Tamil Nadu these sarees are famous for creating an appearance with the wide-ranging use of colours and patterns with bold checks, stripes and contrasting tints. One can find conventional Chettinad saris in mustard yellow, brick red and black.

Muga silk :-

Originated in Assam, these silk saris are the most durable sarees woven from Muga silk.This silk sari is acknowledged for its innate glistening golden colour & it does not require any dye. The body of the sari and borders are embellished with various traditional motifs and butis such as symbols of human figure, flowers, birds, cross borders, galaxies and patterned designs. In addition, the pallu of the saree is woven with sun-tree pattern which adds an extra charm.

No other country can share the position of silk fabric which has a blessed place in the life and culture of the Indians. For your information there are so many other types of silk sarees such as Banarasi, Kanjivaram and a lot more which are considered as a significant bridal wear.
